IPM ACCREDITATION PROGRAM

IPM/PHC Council of Ontario Members include all associations whose operations include the use of pest control products. The IPM Accreditation Program began to develop industry sector specific programs (i.e. Golf, Lawn Care Municipalities, etc.).

Desk Review

The purpose of the IPM Accreditation Program is;

  • A process to recognize industry sector specific and their facilities that demonstrate a commitment to IPM and Plant Health Care;
  • Achieved through a process of education, ongoing professional development, evaluation, and a demonstrated commitment towards IPM.
  • To provide answers many politicians are requesting in their quest for municipal by-laws.

In the summer of 2003, Environmental Investigations Ltd. was commissioned by the IPM/ PHC Council of Ontario to perform both annual desk reviews and on-site facility audits for the IPM Accreditation Program for the Ontario golf sector.
